Capable of 300+ horsepower when matched with the Edelbrock Performer Power Package. Performer heads #350-6035 have high-flow 2.02'' intake valves for use with aftermarket pistons notched for valve clearance. Top-quality 3/8'' rocker studs are included on complete heads. Bronze guides and hardened interlocking seats are included on all heads. Will not accept rail rockers. Hardened pushrods required.
Note: Aftermarket 289/302 heads including Brodix, Edelbrock, Ford Motorsport and World Products with 1/2'' bolt hole diameters (block is 7/16'' bolt hole), except 397-M-6049-P303 (''P'' style head). Require 350-9680 inserts with 350-8552 head bolt or 350-9680 insert with 070-154-3601. If head studs are desired use 070-154-4005 (includes inserts).
Tech Tip: To gain more spark plug clearance, Edelbrock recommends using Champion RC Series plugs such as the RC12YC (P/N 192-49776). They are 0.230'' shorter than a conventional spark plug and have a 5/8'' hex for easier access.

Specifications:
Edelbrock Performer Series aluminum cylinder heads are specifically designed for performance street use. These heads are 50-state legal and provide excellent bolt-on performance for 1965-95 289, 302 & 351-Windsor engines. The performer aluminum heads are available with either 1.90" or 2.02" intake valves. The 1.90" intake valves are for use with Stock Pistons, while the 2.02" intake valves are for use with pistons that are notched for valve clearance. Sold individually, two per engine required.
Note: Hardened pushrods are required (350-9632 flat tapped only). These heads will NOT accept rail rockers. Ford 289-302 engines require the use of head bolt bushings (350-9680).
All bare heads come with valve guides and seats installed, but these heads will require final sizing and a valve job to match the valves being used.
