Rated 5 out of 5 by from This worked for me I bought this heat gasket for my 54 GMC truck with an 88-305 engine. I am running the Edelbrock 1405 carb and the carb would flood after I turned the engine off and let the motor sit for more that 15 minutes. This gasket solved my problem. No more heat soak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carb is cool to the touch with this installed. Before the carb was just as hot as the engine and the gas would vaporize out of the carb when shut off hot making it hard to start. Works great.

I have the Edlebrock 2101 Performer, dual plane, manifold and the Edlebrock 1409, 600 cfm carb.  Is this correct for my setup?  Thanks, Ron
