Excellent craftsmanship
I purchased the radiator for my drag car. It is physically larger than my original and it took some cutting and welding the radiator support to get it to clear my steering box. I don't mind a little cutting and fitting since that process went on throughout the entire build. I also used the jegs universal radiator mount which fit perfectly to the new radiator. If you're looking for a direct drop in replacement , This may not be for you. Be prepared for a little elbow grease.

Make sure this will work for you…
I ordered this radiator for intent to put in my 81 Camaro, it did not fit… I had to do a lot of cutting and even Manufacture a new bracket for the radiator to rest into. Was to long and thick the fans would not clear the steering gear box ( almost 2” to big to clear the gear box) and it never gave Measurements for that and was about 1/4 of an inch bigger then what it says. The only thing Chevy it has going for it is that the inlet and outlet for coolant are correct. Even the transmission lines we’re way spread out. The cap sucks to remove as it has sharp edges and you will need a glove for it. You can’t replace the cap.. also it seems everything will void the Warranty expect just not to have a warranty at all. Hooking up the electrical was also bad.. I had to call tech support to be sure they wanted me to Wire it the way the diagram says. And it’s wrong... If you don’t believe me go look up the wiring the diagram On griffin’s website It’s incorrect. ( you always put the battery to the “pin 30” ) also Wiring diagram it says the yellow line is a 10 gauge and the red line is a 12. This is incorrect as they were both 12 gauge line. The fusible link wires were red, and they want you to install them on the yellow lines.. they did not have all the Hardware to complete wiring it up. I ended up going to the local part store and buying relays that I knew what the diagram actual was. Inside the box it tells you before installing make sure that your alternator can handle the load of the fans. Nowhere in the box on the fans or anywhere I could find online what the amps are.. even asked Griffin what the amps are and I was told that they say on the fans. But they don’t. 32 amps by the way if you run both. not many alternators can handle that Kind of power draw from the battery to keep it full. So plan on charging it up here and there yourself. After said and done with a extra 3 whole days to get it to work the thing works as it should.. and does keep my Camaro from over heating. Side note you will need the bigger mount bushings to wrap around the radiator.
