    Rated 5 out of 5 by from H4 Hella Conversion Lights Bought this for 1989 Dodge PU, had to open up the light buckets, which I expected. Wow what a difference, however the halogen bulbs were not as bright as they could be, but I changed over to LED, this really made these headlights bright.

Literally, it took me about 20 minutes to change both of them out with the new Halogen Conversion lights. They are so bright and clear. One of the few internet purchases that was exactly what I was expecting.

I've converted several of my vehicles to H4 using Hella E-codes as they have a smooth light pattern with a proper beam cutoff which results in more light where you need it and less fatigue during night time driving. These are MUCH better than even the best sealed beams or the cheap plastic conversion kits out there, both in beam pattern and build quality, for about the same cost. The included bulbs aren't anything special, but they can be easily upgraded (to HID or LED even) if you feel the need.

The supplied bulbs aren't as bright as some of the standard aftermarket bulbs but the headlights provide a very uniform beam with good coverage. I've tried several conversions and these are the best I've found.

    It looks like these are the lenses only, correct? I'm interested in replacing the broken lenses on my original 92 Jaguar driving lamps. Will these fit the housing?

    These are complete headlights and will not fit your Jaguar application.

    Which light is brighter , DOT or ECE approved?

    Normally the ECE light output is a bit brighter , its mare a question of where the light shines on the road. and the DOT lights are designed to light up road signs.
