    Electric Choke

    Holley's new 0-80457SA is constructed from aluminum which compared to its zinc counterpart equates to a weight savings of over 5lbs! Holley's new aluminum 0-80457SA will hold its shine and also can be hand polished for a custom look!

    Installation Notes:

    WARNING: This carburetor is not designed for use with any Chrysler automatic overdrive transmission. SEVERE transmission damage may result from improper application use.

    Features:

  • Vacuum secondaries allow use on wide variety of vehicles
  • Electric choke for easy warm up
  • Single feed fuel inlet
  • Calibrated for excellent street performance
  • Ford A/T kickdown, does not work with A.O.D. transmissions
  • 1 timed (spark) port, 1 full vacuum, and 1 PCV port
  • Performance upgrade for stock to mildly modified vehicles
  • Universal calibration for easy bolt-on performance
    Note: The 0-80457SA carburetor is a 50-state emission legal replacement carburetor for 1965-69 V-8 applications. In California, those vehicles must have been originally equipped with a four-barrel carburetor.

"it" decided to LEAK all of a sudden AFTER the frame-off restoration and testing. so if the old one lasted that long, why not stick with something that works . . . ? the nu one . . . well, had to re-plumb . . . but no big deal . . . added the electric choke that the old one didn't have . . . bolted the nu one up and . . . cool beans it fired right up . . . ! looking forward to another 30 . . . . aaaarrrrhhhh !
