Installation Notes:
This transmission crossmember is designed for specific drivetrain positioning geometry that was engineered by Hooker Blackheart to work in combination with their product line of engine swap components. The use of any aftermarket equipment such as; engine mounting brackets, headers or exhaust that are not sold by Hooker Blackheart explicitly for custom swap applications is not advised and is not guaranteed to fit.
This transmission crossmember will not work with engine mounting brackets that move the engine or transmission away from the stock factory offset, or the mating plane away from the stock Ford small block fore/aft position.
If installing this crossmember in a Ford Mustang using a Ford Coyote engine and using a Ford spec T-56 Magnum transmission, no transmission mount adapter is required.
If installing this crossmember in a Ford Mustang using a GM LS-series engine and using either a 2004R or TH400 transmission, Hooker Blackheart 12650HKR transmission mount adapter is required.
If installing this crossmember in a Ford Mustang using a GM LS-series engine and using either a 4L60 or 4L70 transmission, Hooker Blackheart 71223003HKR transmission mount adapter is required.
If installing this crossmember in a Ford Mustang using a GM LS-series engine and using either a 4L80 or 4L85 transmission, Hooker Blackheart 71223013HKR transmission mount adapter is required.
If installing this crossmember in a Ford Mustang using a GM LS-series engine and using either a T-56 or T-56 Magnum transmission from a GM F-Body gen. IV, no transmission mount adapter is required.
