Rated up to 14:1 compression and putting out nearly 2 hp, this unit can take almost anything you throw at it. Ensure peace of mind that your car will reliably start with this heavy-duty unit.

Special Notes:
- Proper mounting: It is important that the starter mounting flange to the engine block is in the correct position for your starter to engage properly. See photo for reference.
- Fits all Small Block Chevy except LS series engines (LS1, LS6, 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L)
- May require the use of "R" Terminal Diode Kit 555-10038, which allows the use of aftermarket mini starters in GM vehicles originally equipped with breaker point ignitions
