JEGS 555-10012 Hitachi-Style Mini Starter Notes:
- Proper mounting: This starter has an indexable rotation and is important that the starter mounting flange to the engine block is in the correct position for your starter to engage properly. See the photo above for reference.
- Fits all Small Block Chevy except LS series engines (LS1, LS6, 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L)
- May require the use of an "R" Terminal Diode Kit 555-10038, which allows the use of aftermarket mini starters in GM vehicles originally equipped with breaker point ignitions
