200140 - JEGS Performance Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Economical option that made my motor happy again! Purchased and installed this camshaft set with stock 289 heads, valve springs, and rockers after an attempted engine upgrade with new heads and a different cam set. I wasnt able to get the compression ratio i needed with the newer heads. This setup got me back on the road so I could enjoy my ride for the summer! It added a slight boost in HP, could be a lot better with better flowing heads. FYI, my cam checked out 2.5 degrees (Ret), so keep that in mind as you assemble, you may want to match it up with a more adjustable timing gear set. Bottom line, I am pleasantly pleased with this product thus far, and would hope others would share the same success.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice mild cam I have had this cam up and running for about two weeks, wish it had just a little more of a lope but that could be caused by not having headers and a good exhaust system, as for every day driving it's great.

Will this have good vaccines for power brakes ?

    Asked by: Kmcclure
This will not interfere with the power brakes at all.

Is this cam ground with 5 degrees of advance? I've been reading up on cam specs, & from what I've read if ICL is subracted from LSA it equals the degrees of advance thats ground in so 112-107=5 degrees advanced right?
