Rated 5 out of 5 by from Successful install first time Since o ring crush is minimal, it's important to have flange and neck sit flat and flush. Burr on the inside of the flange where it holds the neck could have loaded the neck unevenly. I sanded it off and lubricated both parts where they make contact. I also put a small head of silicone on the edge of the neck just outside of the o ring. I did not rotate the neck once tightened. No leaks on Edelbrock manifold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Piece! Very impressive product for a very good price. Replaced my radiator with a non-OEM model and needed the ability to readjust the upper hose installation. This adjustable thermostat housing worked perfectly and was not ridiculously expensive like some are. Not sure how the other guys are justifying the cost for theirs as this is a pretty nice looking and working alternative.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from designflaw O-ring contacts the edge of groove that seats the thermostat and does not seal or restrain the neck from rotation. If groove and O-ring were a little larger diameter and didn't contact the thermostat it would probably seal to the manifold. This was on an Edelbrock 2101 manifold. Will return.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Housing didnt secure rotating water neck down. While i give this product a poor rating because it didn't work the JEG's customer service rep was awesome and offered to send me either the same one again or another brand that was the same price. I received another brand one and it fit awesome. I understand these are massed produced so getting one that is bad isn't uncommon. I am going to say I would still recommend the part as it looked great and I have never had a issue before with a JEG's brand product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks - Does not cover thermostat This leaked pretty bad, the opening is too small and does not cover the thermostat itself, so it cannot seal properly. Bought the larger Billet one and it works great.
