Determining what pointer you need
With the crankshaft keyway at the 12 o'clock position and the #1 piston at TDC. Align the Balancer/Damper on the crank snout. Note the position of the 0° mark on the Balancer/Damper. If the mark is at 11 o'clock position then you need part number 555-51280 or 555-51291; if it's at the 10 o'clock position then you need part number 555-51281 or 555-51292 .
