JEGS 555-51956 Ready-Fit Aluminum Radiator Note:
- 2011-2016 Ford Truck Models with Diesel applications have 2 separate cooling systems, each with its own radiator. The JEGS 555-51944 is the main radiator located on the engine side of the radiator support. JEGS 555-51956 is the secondary radiator mounted in front of the radiator support.
JEGS 555-51956 Ready-Fit Aluminum Radiator Measurement Note:
- Measuring a radiator is very simple but, certain rules apply. The tubes of a radiator are always mounted parallel to the fins and perpendicular to the inlet/outlet tanks. The measurement difference between a crossflow and a downflow radiator can be confusing. The first measurement is always the height which is always taken in the same direction as the tubes. (Height Example: A Crossflow Radiator Height would be measured horizontally whereas a Downflow Radiator would be measured Vertically). Second, the width is always measured between the side plates.
