Rated 5 out of 5 by from LS6 stock valve spring replacement Purchased to replace the stock valve springs on my 02 z06 as peace of mind from the somewhat well known spring issue on 02 and 03 LS6 with the gm replacement spring. This tool worked as expected with no issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool, insufficient bolts. I would have given it 5 stars if it had grade 5 or 8 bolts. By the tool, throw away the bolts, by grade 8 bolts. After I did that the tool works great. A bit pricey for a piece of steel though. This tool should be like $40.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good design I bought the tool about a month ago and it works great on the first two sets of valves then the bolt broke on me. Good design. Needs better parts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall good tool I bought this to change the valve springs on a motor I'm building. Fair priced so I gave it a try. Worked good to remove the springs I needed to but when removing the lighter springs after degreeing the cam, the but cross threaded and caused some issues. Go nice and easy and it should work great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Included Stainless Hardware is Garbage This tool comes with stainless hardware, you might think that sounds good but stainless is very soft and when you have stainless threads they tend to gall up. I was able to change exactly one set of springs and the threads pilled up on the stud and it even galled the threads in the body of the unit to the point it wouldn't thread out. Fast forward an hour later I drilled out the bottom after snapping the stud off and retapped it up a size to 3/8 and installed proper grade 8 hardware. After that it worked great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor hardware included The tool itself worked but only after I went to my local hardware store and bought some better bolts, nuts, and washers. I probably would have returned it if I hadn't been able to use it with the new hardware.
