Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frustrating and not frustrating You can not beat this thing for the money you pay for it, it’s half the price of the competition. Mine came with a broken glass and broken portals, the plastic bits you put your hands in, I called customer support and was blown away with how friendly they were and how painless they made getting replacement parts. No questions asked and they shipped a huge box with the parts for free. The biggest complaint I have is the instructions don’t necessarily match up to what was in the box, I got a big tube of RTV instead of sealing cotton but I had enough to lay a thick bead on the joints. It’s important to inventory the boxes before you start to assemble it because I received a ridiculous amount of nuts and not enough bolts. It takes a while to assemble so be prepared to spend a solid day working on it. All in all it’s a great purchase. My hats off to customer service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Top View Cabinet Works excellent. Jegs customer service was a great help when a few parts ended up missing upon delivery. Honestly took about 7.0 hours on and off of just messing around building it. I’d give it a solid 5 stars ⭐️ for the quality of the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I knew what I was getting into When I was in the market for a blasting cabinet I was torn between a harbor freight tier unit like this one, and the Eastwood unit for a lot more coin. I happened upon a video on YouTube about blasting cabinet upgrades like a foot pedal and triggerless gun, metering valve at the bottom of the hopper (which replaces the siphon tube), regulator to save on compressor, and dust collection so you can see. It was probably another couple hundred I would say (I pieced it together instead of buying a kit). Also adding a proper compressor cooler/dryer to the compressor would probably help quite a bit too but that's not really related to this cabinet per se. Ultimately I decided to get the cheapest unit available and just do those upgrades myself. (The HF one was not available at the time of this purchase, but the only reason I would have gone that route is to get it sooner, it wasn't that much cheaper than this one) This cabinet went together ok, there were a couple times when I had a panel on the wrong side of an adjacent one which caused other holes not to line up, but as long as you wait to tighten the bolts it's not that big a deal. My take is that since you pretty much need to do the upgrades to any cabinet you get, you might as well get a cheap one. Don't expect this thing to work perfectly right out of the box. Funny enough, I did need to do some drum brake backing plates and other brackets and it did work fine for those items before I was able to get the upgrades done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Cabinet for the Cost I ordered this expecting exactly what I received. It is a structurally heavy-duty and well made piece of equipment. Was it a pain to put together? You betcha! But that's par for the course with this type of tooling. Mine had some plastic damaged during shipping, but that isn't the manufacturers or sellers issue, and as it was packaged securely and the boxes sturdy, that falls squarely on the shipping company. Mine had instructions included (they're even available on JEGS site with the product listing) and they clearly state to NOT tighten any fasteners completely until all of the panels are installed, then tighten securely. If that is followed, all the pre-defined holes and nut-certs line up fine. I had ZERO issues with this. There were a couple small items missing from the hardware box, but JEGS customer service was all over that and are sending them right out to me along with the damaged plastic pieces. You cannot beat this thing for the price and features. Is it difficult to put together.. Sure..Is it well made..Yup..Is it worth the cost and time?..Yup..Is JEGS customer service top-knotch?.. Oh Yeah!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be ready for some alterations My cabinet was delivered in pretty rough shape. I will blame that on the shipper. None the less I had to straighten out some bent edges but nothing that hindered the cabinets integrity. I was disappointed that there were no instructions packed with this. Even though this was a pretty straight forward assembly, some pointers on which way the laps went and what screws went where or where they recommended where to use the silicone and foam tape would have been helpful. After a couple of assemblies and disassembles, mission accomplished. To the point of the other fellows problems of alignment and holes not matching up, my experience was the same and is a real pain. Expect to drill some holes to promote alignment and I went as far as re-tapping some of the well nuts to accommodate the mating piece. So imagine, doing this a few times to realize the pieces are not lapped correctly and having to take apart and reassemble. (I did not use the foam, I siliconed all of my joints). My suggestion is to have a friend help and be patient. It took me 6 hours to assemble by myself, an assistant definitely would have helped. I'll rate this process a 1 to 1.5 As I mentioned, the cabinet did have some damage when I opened it. the hand hole plastic had busted during shipping and the light did not work. I called Jegs Sunday afternoon and spoke with a Joyce. My hats off to Joyce, she talked with some folks in her office about part numbers and availability to no avail. She assured me that she would follow up on this during a work day and get back with me. WALLA! I got a follow up email Monday and parts at my door Tuesday. I'll rate Jegs and Joyce 5. ( more if I could) I have not installed my parts yet or used my cabinet. If I have any additional comments I will be sure to post. Good luck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware!! Design flaws requires a lot of fab to wrk The unit was designed & manufactured without the sealing tape. You must seal the main seams or sand and dust will blow everywhere. The seam tape (there isn’t enough to tape where they specify in the instructions, do you must go buy more) takes up little space between panels, but one applied the holes do not align correctly. The outside panel has a hole and the inside panel has a welded nut. The light is shipped attached to one panel only hanging by the wires. The wires are hot glued (see pics) which fall off leavin the two 20gauge wires to hold the weight of the light. Mine broke one connection during shipping (I didn’t know this until I spent about 7 hours assembling the unit). I thought this could be easily soldered, but the tube with the led strip was sealed pretty good because it’s not meant to come apart. The work area platform is not the one pictured on Jegs website. The one that comes with the unit is about 1/16” including paint and flimsy. The thin material would work if it was cut to the correct size. It comes too small and falls to bottom of unit with little to no weight on it. Mine came with one glove bracket broken. I figured I’d call Jegs one the unit was together and get replacement parts sent out. When I called, I spoke with an extremely rude customer service representative who informed me the only replacement items available are gloves and windows films. He said my only option was to return the whole unit and have it replaced. I told him about the severe engineering flaws and the amount of time it takes to actually make this unit operable. He said that is your only option. Good luck ladies and gentlemen. I would definitely NOT recommend buying this unit.
