    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, worth the price! This saw is a gem! It works well, has a decently long cord, and would be perfect in an HVAC or sheetmetal shop. I could see it being used daily in a body shop, perhaps to the point that multiple units would be necessary. The laser guide light is a little hard to see in daylight, but in a darker area (a garage or shop for example) is very visible. It's easy to cut a staight line. It IS easy to forget to turn the light off, though! My 1st use of the saw was to disassemble a non-returnable set of headers into 2 flanges with stubs, 8 tubes and 2 collectors, to be used in a different application. It took about 45 minutes, and cost me a saw blade, as I learned not to feed the saw too heavily, and broke about half of the carbide teeth off. That made me really glad I'd bought a spare blade! The only issue I've noted is that the chip exhaust tube doesn't stay where it's set very well; it falls off easily. The normal cautions exist: wear safety glasses and/or goggles, and use hearing protection. Rivetter's glasses (with the side screens) would work well too. Hearing protection is needed, as the noise produced by the cutting is in a dangerous level. The pitch is determined by the thickness of the metal being cut, but can be modified by use of something to absorb the vibrations. A floor mat from my van worked well to dampen the pieces of corrogated metal I was cutting. The noise was still loud enough to be damaging though. Ear plugs or muffs are needed. Your ears ears will ring for the next day if protection is not used. I cannot recommend this saw too highly! It's well worth the price.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a champ! I bought this based on an email sale notice from Jegs. I bought 2 replacement blades at the same time: 81556, and -7. The saw was delivered a couple days after the purchase, and was tested next day. It dissassembled a pair of non-returnable headers into the 8 tubes, 2 flanges with stubs, and 2 collectors, inside 10 minutes. The only caveat is that earplugs WILL be needed. The tone the cutting makes will depend upon the thickness of the material. Thin sheetmetal will produce a shriek that will leave your (unprotected) ears ringing for a couple days. Earplugs and possibly ear muffs can be used to protect your hearing. This is mentioned within the description, but bears repetition. And remember the faceshield! Hot chips in your eyes will convince you after the 1st time that you don't want to do it again. Been there, done that, got the tee shirt. Not a fun thing at all.

    The Jegs 555 81755 saw does not come with a vacuum bag. Additional blades can be purchased.
