Rated 4 out of 5 by from Work good The springs are what jegs say they are but they will not hold up my hood but that's the downside when using a fiberglass hood.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice quality but too low of tension Purchased to use for an all glass cowl hood but the springs are too light and wont hold the hood up. Can’t get much lighter than the hood so not sure what the spring tension would be used on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t even breath on the hood it will fall! Springs sent strong enough to hold up my bolt in fiberglass hood. Very dis appointed in a Jegs brand product once again. I will never buy Jegs brand after the trouble I’ve had over the past few months!

Will they hold a hood which the top is made of fiberglass, and the bottom is made of steel?

    Asked by: Joespike
If this is a steel hood with a fiberglass scoop then you will want standard tension springs.
