Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mismatched baseplate and throttle arm I bought this for a Pontiac that had holly on it when I got it. Wanted to return it to a little more factory setup. Can't find linkage anywhere to work with it, Jet used me to get rid of some bad core parts that technically fit, but are such one offs that they knew they would never get rid of them otherwise. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to ask for help until after 30 days, so no warranty, no help, and no support.

Can this replace a computer controlled quadrajet on a 1983 305?  I have a replacement distributor with vacuum advance to replace stock.  Motor has stock intake, trick flow heads, headers and a mild comp cam.

The Jet 561-35002 carb will bolt to a stock GM intake.
