J253512RAC - Jones Exhaust Stainless Steel Weld On Exhaust Tips is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not chromed, and rusted quickly I bought these tips in late 2018 IIRC, and had them installed with a full exhaust system on my 1970 Torino a week or so later. Having bought MANY stainless steel exhaust tips before, I was somewhat surprised that they were more of a brushed looking finish, than a chrome like shine. By the next Spring when I started working on the car again, I looked down, and they were covered with a pretty nasty looking coating of rust. Yes rust, like a cheap auto parts store chromed steel tip?? The worst part is that the car was barely driven home from the exhaust shop, and maybe driven a couple of miles more around the neighborhood, then parked. I have not tried polishing them, and I may do that, since I have nothing to lose really. I will think twice about ordering this brand of tips again, that much is certain.
