Pro Power coils use a patented winding design to raise spark energy and voltage output over the factory units, and they fire multiple sparks at idle rpm for a cleaner burn. They bolt into the factory LS1 and LS6 coil locations and plug into the original connectors. Note that these coils have a second two-pin connector for optional ignition and timing control, and it must be plugged in or the coil will not operate.
