This Boost Timing Master is made for use with MSD ignitions and enables you to adjust the ignition retard amount from 1° to 3° per pound of boost via a dash-mounted control knob. You can make adjustments on the fly to prevent detonation as fuel quality or altitude and air quality changes up to a maximum of 15° retard. There is a boost pressure port to connect to your manifold and the Boost Timing Master wires easily to the MSD Ignition Control.

    Features:
  • Adjust the timing from the driver's seat
  • Easily connects to your MSD Ignition
  • Allows you to set a boost pressure point to start the retard

    Notes:
  • 50-State Legal - CARB E.O Number D-40-28.
  • This unit must be used with a MSD 6, 7, or 8-Series Ignition.

  • Will this work with a gm h.e.i locked out or not locked out?

    Asked by: Stillwell
This will work in either application, but it is recommended to lock out the distributor.

How do I test to ensure that timing is being pulled once installed, before I take a chance on detonation?

    Asked by: Tomcan
You can check the instructions and use a timing light remotely if you can.
