Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Installation on my K5 Blazer Rear Axles I'm running 1979 K5 Blazer 1/2 ton Axles (12 bolt rear end) on my 1974 Chevy K10 (I get re-use whatever parts I can get!). The stock studs are very short and not ideal for mounting modern aluminum wheels. I replaced the stock studs with these Moser 8259 studs which are 1/2" longer compared to my stock set. I removed the stock studs with a stud removal tool from Amazon ($20), but you only need an old lug nut and a stack of washers for installation. I used WD-40 for both removal and installation, and did all 12 studs without any issue. It's hard to find 1/2" longer studs by looking through catalogs, since this is not a stock replacement (it's more of an upgrade). I actually had to measure the stock stud knurling to make sure I got the right part. The only complaint I have, is these come in a 10 pack, and I needed 12 studs. So I had to purchase a whole extra pack for 2 studs. I still need to tackle the front wheel studs, but I haven't checked to see if the rear and front are the same size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right size These were to replace the standard studs on my 69 olds 442 after a rear disk brake conversion. Had to be slightly longer for adding a 1" adapter so the wheel would clear the new caliper.

Would you be able to tell me if these studs would work on a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am? And also are they the same front and rear? Installing custom snowflake wheels and I need longer studs. I have disc brakes, front and rear.
