Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet operation I installed this pump on my 1955 Nash Metropolitan. It has a 1980 MGB engine in it and this pump was replacing an old Carter electric pump. The new pump is extremely quiet and is a nice change from the old noisy one. I would highly recommend it to anyone would needs a low pressure electric fuel pump!

can this pump be used to prime the engine and once running shutting the pump off using the mechanical pump, will the electric allow gas to flow if off?  If not do you sell a pump that will allow this function?

    Asked by: Model40
No, fuel will not free flow through this pump and most pumps will not work for this purpose.
