    9051 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spins Over Quick I have only had it about a month and can’t speak to its longevity, but I am impressed with the speed it cranks over my 7.3 powerstroke. I replaced a ford gear reduction starter that failed after just one year. Definitely have on hand a set of metric stubby wrenches to ease installation. Took less than an hour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slow start problem cured! Overall finish and appearance out of the box was great. One major selling feature was it still mounts with three bolts!! Seemed pretty important if you are installing a higher torque and heavier starter. The hidden one on top is a bit tricky to get in as you have to put one of the other bolts in about three quarters of the way and let the starter hang off it at a slight angle to get enough clearance. The studs for the electrical connections are out in the open and very easy to get to,unlike reviews I have read about other manufacturers starters. Just break the locater tab off the battery cable and flatten it a bit for a better than factory connection. I took it one step further and used the nuts off the old starter to double nut the electrical connections and eliminate any possability of them loosening. Will see if performance remains down the road but so far very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the upgrade Excellent, turns engine over 3 times as fast pulling the same amps. Starts alot quicker here in the cold months. If you upgrading this is it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome power! I bought this for my diesel truck and it is just awesome. It spins the engine so fast you have to be careful to let go of the key quick enough.
