Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Starter I used this starter to replace a Galaxie Performance starter on my '65 Cobra with a 427 Ford FE engine. The Galaxie Bendix drive wore out and wouldn't engage reliably. The Powermaster works properly and seems to have much more power than the Galaxie.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good starter - poor fit Poor fitment without grinding away some of the engine block casting. It would have been nice if such instructions were included with the starter.

Will this starter work for a 76 F250 with the 360 4-speed and 184T manual transmissions? Cause I know some starters have the pinion offset and some are centered I don't know if there is a difference between the automatic and manual for the starters.
