The 1987-up center bolt small block is the awkward one for dress-up parts, because perimeter bolt covers will not fit it. These are cast for that head with the center bolt pattern, and the mould is designed to give more internal clearance than a stamped cover, so a roller rocker setup is not immediately a problem.
