    Capable of 230 horsepower and 285 ft/lbs torque, this GM 305 engine was engineered for 1996-2002* Chevy/GMC 1/2-ton and 3/4-ton trucks, SUVs, and vans. It is a 2-bolt main block with 1-piece nodular iron crankshaft, hydraulic roller cam, and Vortec cylinder heads that feature a swirl port intake design. This long block assembly was created as a drop-in replacement for light duty GM vehicles.
