SP63016 - SP Tools Flaring Tools is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tool does not work Purchased this tool kit for flaring 3/8" steel fuel lines. Flaring tool simply pushes the 3/8" pipe out the back of the clamping tool. I added a 6" C-clamp around the clamping tool in order to tighten the grip on the 3/8" pipe. No improvement - still just pushes the 3/8" steep pipe out of the clamping tool without flaring the pipe at all. I next put the clamping tool in a large bench vise. This time the flaring tool did slightly flare the 3/8 pipe, that is until the threads in the flaring tool stripped out from just hand tightening. In summary - this tool kit is junk. It may work on aluminum or copper pipe, but does not work at all on steel fuel lines. Will be returning the kit for a refund.
