Low-Profile Air Box Kits
Under hood hot air can heat soak the air going into your engine and rob your engine of horsepower. For this reason, Spectre has engineered these universal air intake systems for classic V6/V8 muscle car/pickup models with a GM throttle body injection assembly or carburetor with a 5-1/8 inch neck. These air intake systems use a low profile, 14 by 3 inch tall round air filter housing with dual inlets and a set of two flexible air intake ducts. To help block the hot under hood air the air filter housing has two tubes that can be routed to a location that will provide cooler outside air. In addition, we offer multiple angles of separation between the air filter housing inlets to allow for multiple configurations.
