The QRJ Blow-Off Valve (Boost Control Valve) is TiAL's latest take on a compact, high flowing Blow Off Valve. The QRJ is primarily designed to act as a recirculating blow-off valve or diverter valve, but a diffuser outlet port flange is available for vent-to-atmosphere setups. This valve offers installers the unique options of mixing and matching all different types of inlet and outlet ports for a multitude of configurations. You can choose from the 38mm V-band flange or 25.4mm (1.00''), 29mm (1.14''), or 38.5mm (1.50'') hose fitting. Each of these can be used on either the inlet or outlet ports of the QRJ Valve. There is also the option of utilizing a V-Band Adapter Flange for mounting this valve onto existing Q/QR Blow Off Valves inlet pipes.
You can use this valve on both turbocharged and supercharged applications with the included -3 psi green spring. This spring has been tuned to allow the QRJ to achieve the fastest response possible. Custom springs options are available for other configurations. The body and all internal components are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum. Anodized exterior finishes are available in Black, Blue, Silver, Red, or Purple. Inside, the valve seat seal utilizes a Viton O-ring clamped in place to prevent it from sticking to the seat and pulling out. The high performance diaphragm offers long cycle life, zero leakage and zero breakaway friction for fast and reliable boost control. The valve stem and guide come PTFE lubricated and hard anodize coated for greater wear resistance. This valve utilizes the same oversized hose barb connection as other TiAL valves, providing quicker actuator response.
