Specifications:
Trans Dapt Oil Filter Bypass Adapters are available in bolt-on, spin-on and 90 degree styles.
Designed for early model engine blocks that do not include a spin on style oil filter, the Bolt On Oil Filter Bypass Adapters replace stock oil filter brackets by bolting directly to the engine block. These bolt on adapters have 0.50" PT ports and are not available for all applications.
Spin On Oil Filter Bypass Adapters are easily installed by simply removing the stock filter and spinning on the new replacement adapter. These spin on adapters have a depth of 1-9/16" and 0.50" NPT inlet and outlet ports.
If you have an adapter that has an extremely tight fitment, the spin on, 90 degree oil filter bypass adapters simplify the installation process. These adapters have 0.50" NPT inlet and out ports and only extend 1-3/8" from the block.
Note: The spin on 90 degree oil filter bypass adapters are not for Marine or Diesel applications.Motor Vehicles
