9729 - Trans Dapt Performance Products Street and Strip Oil Pans is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't fit well After some reservations, i purchased this for my 1970 impala (454,th400, p/s, p/b), because when i contacted the mfg they said it would fit. It really doesn't. The tie rod ends contact the pan when close to fully extended in either direction, limiting my turn radius. The pan sits below the crossmember, exposing it to road damage ( i havent hit it yet, but scraped it a few time in parking lots and I am careful...). It prevented the engine from mating with the transmission until i removed the steering linkages on install. Oh yeah, and the pickup specified for it takes a month or more to get! It also interferes with the installation of the torque converter/flexplate cover. That, to me, an ASE certified tech for over 25 years, is not the definition of "will fit"!
