Tuff Stuff's Master Cylinders combine quality, fitment and use only 100% new components, tested and manufactured in the USA. These master cylinders fit virtually all hot rods, customs and muscle cars, available in stock-style iron or aluminum smoothie versions. Stock-style cast iron master cylinders come in a variety of finishes including chrome plated, powder coated or as cast. Aluminum Smoothie master cylinders come in chrome plated or polished aluminum finish. Both incorporate 3-3/8" mounting hole spacing (67-74 Mustang is 3-1/8") and dual reservoirs. Master cylinders are available individually or as Brake Booster/Master Cylinder combo.

    Stock-Style Iron Master Cylinders:

    • 1” bore recommended for disc/drum and drum/drum brake set-ups
    • 1-1/8" bore recommended for most disc/disc brake set-ups
    • 3-3/8" mounting hole spacing
    • Dual reservoirs
    • Chrome plated, powder coated or as cast finish

    Aluminum Smoothie Master Cylinders:

    • Shallow hole master cylinders, usually used with a power brake booster, refers to the piston end being nearly flush with the back end of the master cylinder
    • Deep hole master cylinders, usually used on non-power manual brake systems, has a recessed piston end allowing the brake pedal rod to be held securely in the hole
    • 3-3/8" mounting hole spacing
    • Dual reservoirs
    • Chrome plated or polished aluminum finish

Brake Booster/Master Cylinder Combos: Specific fit applications available in chrome plated, gold zinc or black powder coated finishes. Universal fit applications available in chrome plated or gold zinc finishes. Every unit is vacuum tested to insure reliability and works with many stock mounting bracket set-ups and with Tuff Stuff bracket kits (sold seperately). Universal fit applications include 3/8"-16 mounting studs and nuts.

    • 1” and 1-1/8” master cylinder bores work with disc/disc, disc/drum and drum/drum brake set-ups
    • Single and dual diaphragm styles available in 7”, 8”, 9” and 11” diameters to fit virtually all hot rods, customs and muscle cars

    2124NB-2 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does stop a lot better Over the stock CJ booster it definitely stops better with one ton axles. But it's a close to bolt in the studs are about a half a bolt hole closer and the booster has a threaded stud and verses the factory one that has a pin. You will need to do as I did and cut 3.5 inches off and weld the factory and on your new booster. With that you will definitely improve the breaking performance over the stock CJ.
