- Accel Ultra-Lite Starters feature full ball bearing construction, aviation-grade lubricants, and low-amperage draw. They're 33% smaller and significantly lighter than conventional starters, which creates more clearance between the headers and oil pan. A 3.75:1 gear reduction means 40% to 50% more torque than OE starters. The heavy-duty solenoid utilizes a contact disc instead of a bar-type contact to provide maximum reliability and long service life.
