Electronically controlled GM 4L60E transmissions built from 1996 on use a hex bolt pattern on the output side, which will not accept the transfer case adapters designed around the earlier 700R pattern. This 1.500 in. billet aluminum adapter converts that six-bolt output to the four-bolt 700R style pattern, opening up the existing range of transfer case adapters for a late-model 4L60E swap.
Advance Adapters 50-0405E Technical Specifications:
- Converts the six-bolt 4L60E output pattern to a four-bolt 700R style pattern.
- 1.500 in. overall length, machined from billet aluminum with a natural finish.
- For 1996 and newer electronically controlled 4L60E transmissions.
- Designed for 4WD models with a removable bellhousing.
