aFe is proud to introduce the all new Magnum FORCE Stage-2 XP intake system for the 2017 GM Silverado HD/Sierra HD (L5P) diesel trucks with the V8-6.6L Duramax turbo diesel engine. In recent testing this system outflowed the factory intake. This highly engineered system uses a powder-coated heat-shielded airbox with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filtration duties is the Pro 5R performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The Pro 5R filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube adapts to the stock intake elbow making it easier for installation. The tube is also engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance. Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle-free installation. One Piece Powder-Coated Steel Heatshield: A one-piece powder-coated steel heatshield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense. Huge 5" Flange 360 Degree Air Filter: A huge inverted cone 360 degree radial flow air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6% efficient). The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Roto-Molded Tube: Rotomolded intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance. The tube connects to the stock intake elbow for added convenience and quicker installation. Hassle-Free Installation: aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations minimizing the use of hardware.
