This 30-spline chromoly rear axle shaft kit from Alloy USA fits 97-06 Jeep Wranglers with a Dana 44 rear axle without ABS. The axle flange is drilled for two bolt patterns, 5 on 4.5-inch and 5 on 5-inch.
- High-tensile 4340 chromoly is heat-treated, tempered, and induction hardened to produce these heavy-duty axles that are up to 40% stronger than stock 1040 axles. Alloy USA uses the latest cold-rolled technology to form splines that are tougher than those cut traditionally (no cuts = less chance of fracture). Shafts have a 10-year warranty.
- Dana 35: 27-spline to 30-spline
- Dana 44: 30-spline to 33 or 35-spline
Each kit includes driver and passenger side shafts, seals, bearings, and wheel studs.
