Allstar Performance's Spring Pre-Loaders allows use of a softer spring rate that is "pre-loaded" at ride height. The pre-loaded spring will have less rate increase as the suspension travels giving better traction. The spring pre-loaders are commonly used on the rear coil-overs and fits most shocks. They do require 3" inner diameter springs and do include a thrust bearing set. Unit is typically installed with slotted inner half towards the shock body. Available pre-load wrenches help set the pre-load with ease.
