Adding an Allstar deck mount oil cooler to your race car increases engine life and reduces engine operating temperature. Engine oil not only lubricates but also removes a large amount of heat from the engine. Top engine builders recommend and often require use of an oil cooler. Coolers have built-in flanges for mounting to the deck underside of most dirt late models, modifieds or other vehicles that would benefit from use of an oil cooler. Also available are Allstars oil cooler scoops which mount to the deck of most race cars above the oil cooler forcing air through the oil cooler to aid cooling. Black plastic scoops have a carbon fiber look and measure 11" x 7" with a 3" tall opening and approximately a 1" mounting lip.
