A rebuilt 283 cast iron head supplied complete with valves and springs, so it goes straight onto the block without a trip to a machine shop. Original 283 castings are getting hard to find in serviceable condition, and cracked or badly eroded seats are common at this age. Note that this casting has no accessory bolt holes.
