The L9H is the flex fuel version of the 6.2L Gen IV V8, built with variable valve timing but without cylinder deactivation. That combination matters on replacement, because a non-DOD camshaft and the matching valvetrain have to be correct or the engine will not run right. This long block is built to the L9H configuration for 2009-2013 Escalade, Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Yukon and Hummer H2 applications.
