The LY7 3.6L is a timing chain driven DOHC V6, and worn chains and guides usually take the rest of the valvetrain with them. Replacing the long block puts fresh heads, camshafts and a machined block on the vehicle in one step. Built for 2007-2008 Enclave, Acadia and Outlook.
