A high performance LS long block built on the iron LQ4 block for builders who want real power without giving up bottom-end durability. It pairs a custom hydraulic roller grind with OE cathedral port aluminum heads and 10:1 hypereutectic pistons, and it is intended for a tuned application, not a stock calibration.
ATK Engines HP109 High Performance Long Block Engine Features:
- Rated 505 HP and 480 ft.-lbs. of torque.
- OE LQ4 6.0L iron block, bored up to 4.040 in. with a 3.622 in. stroke.
- Hypereutectic pistons at 10:1 compression with moly rings.
- OE cathedral port aluminum heads, 71cc chamber and 210cc intake runner.
- Custom performance hydraulic roller camshaft with 1.7 ratio rocker arms.
- ECM tuning is required. 91 octane or higher and a 1800+ stall converter are recommended.
