This short block is for naturally aspirated applications.

Engine Information:

• New Dart SHP LS Cast Iron Block
• 4 or 6 Bolt Cylinder Heads Accepted
• Bore/Stroke: 4.125 in. x 4.125 in.
• Camshaft Bearings: Installed and clocked to OEM position
• Freeze Plugs: Installed and sealed
• Oil Galley Plugs: Installed and sealed

Rotating Assembly: 

• Crankshaft: Scat 4340 Forged 4.125 in. Internally Balanced 58 tooth reluctor
• Rods: Scat 4340 Forged H Beam 6.125 in. with ARP 8740 bolts
• Pistons: 2618 Forged +22 dished
• Piston Rings: Wiseco GFX with steel top ring and Napier 2nd ring
• Compression Ratio: 66 cc = 10.1:1 / 68 cc = 9.9:1 / 70 cc = 9.8:1

Recommend Components: 

• Harmonic Balancer: Internally balanced
• Flexplate: Internally balanced
• Oil: 10W30
