NOTE:

• Core return can be any Small Block Chrysler 360ci engine

This short block is designed to be a strong foundation for high horsepower street/strip engine builds.

Block Information:

• 1993-2001 Seasoned OE Magnum Block
• Bore/Stroke: 4.040" x 4.000"
• Displacement: 408ci
• Camshaft Bearings: Dura-Bond, installed and clocked to OEM position
• Freeze Plugs: Brass, installed and sealed
• Oil Galley Plugs: Installed and sealed

Rotating Assembly:

• Crankshaft: Scat nodular iron
• Balance: Internally
• Rods: Scat 4340 forged I beam with ARP 8740 bolts
• Compression Ratio: 62cc= 9.7:1 / 68cc= 9.2:1 / 72cc= 8.9:1
• Pistons: Hypereutectic dished -23.5cc
• Rings: Plasmamoly

Recommended Components:

• Balancer: Internal balance 
• Flexplate/Flywheel: Internal balance 
• Head Gasket: .048" thickness or per application
• Oil: 10W30 Non syntheitc for first 3000 miles
• Oil Filter: Wix or K&N per application

This part is only legal for sale and use on Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles or on vehicles used solely for the purposes of closed competition racing.
