This short block is designed to be a strong foundation for high horsepower street/strip engine builds.

• 2003-2008 Seasoned OE HEMI with ARM main studs
• Bore/Stroke: 3.927" x 4.050"
• Displacement: 392ci
• Camshaft Bearings: Dura-Bond, installed and clocked to OEM position
• Freeze Plugs: Brass, installed and sealed
• Oil Galley Plugs: Installed and sealed

Rotating Assembly:

• Crankshaft: Scat 4340 forged
• Balance: Internally
• Rods: Scat 4340 forged H beam 6.125" with ARP 2000 bolts
• Compression Ratio: 81cc= 9.8:1 / 85cc= 9.4:1 / 89cc= 9.1:1
• Pistons: Forged flat top -2cc
• Rings: Plasmamoly with steel top ring gapped for boost/nitrous

Recommended Components:

• Balancer: Internal balance 
• Flexplate/Flywheel: Internal balance 
• Head Gasket: .045" thickness or per application
• Oil: 5W/20 Non syntheitc for first 3000 miles
• Oil Filter: Wix or K&N per application

Notes:

ATK's Boost/Nitrous short blocks are meant for engines running these setups. Bearing clearances and ring gaps have been taken into consideration for this series of short blocks.
