All B&M race converters built prior to mid '99 use 1/2" drive lugs and 1/2" diameter bolts, mid '99 and later use 7/16" drive lugs and 7/16" diameter bolts to fasten theconverter to the flexplate. If you need to use 7/16" bolts through the 1/2" drive lugs, B&M offers a sleeve kit 130-20654 which will allow you to use 7/16" bolts. Do not use7/16" bolts without a sleeve kit or you will cause the converter to spin out of concentricity and damage the converter and flexplate!
