Sidewall Explained

The DOT-approved track tires that take winning as seriously as you do. The g-Force R1 was designed for track days, road racing, and consistency, lap after lap. It is the tire most suited for extended road course use. It features a more durable compound designed for longer life and consistency. The g-Force R1 uses a competition tread compound molded into a symmetric, non-directional, semi-slick tread design with just 4/32" of beginning tread depth eliminating the need for shaving. Rubber bridges are molded repeatedly across the two DOT-required circumferential grooves to promote even wear and further the tire's slick-like performance. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by a spiral-wrapped polyamide cord on top of a 2-ply nylon cord casing.

The g-Force R1 S LL is designed for light bursts, most commonly associated with autocross. The "S" designation implies the tire is intended for sprint use. Featuring a softer compound, this tire comes up to temperature quickly, but exchanges life to do so. It's best suited for autocross use or for individuals looking to set competitive qualifying laps. The g-Force R1 S uses an enhanced competition tread compound that is molded into a symmetric, non-directional, semi-slick tread design with just 4/32" of beginning tread depth eliminating the need for shaving. Rubber bridges are molded repeatedly across the two DOT-required circumferential grooves to promote even wear and provide slick-like performance. The tread compound warms up quickly to provide predictable grip that is forgiving and easy to drive at the limit.
