This purpose-built rock crawling tire was developed through participation in competition as BF Goodrich worked directly with rock crawling enthusiasts. The Krawler T/A KX has a soft tread compound molded into an extra deep tread design with an extreme grip tread pattern. It combines deep, aggressive independent blocks with solid sidewall lugs for maximum traction under the toughest conditions. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts and four nylon sidewall plies. A rim protector is also incorporated to enhance wheel and tire protection, especially in aired-down off-road situations.
