Factory control arms for the SS are the same as what Chevrolet puts on Grandmas Caprice. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the added loads of performance driving. BMR control arms are built using 1-5/8" x .120" rollcage tubing with 1/4" thick mounting plates for a bulletproof combination. Lower arms are available stock length or 3/4" longer than stock to properly center the wheels in the wheel wells and both are equipped with swaybar mounting holes and greaseable, low deflection polyurethane bushings.
