BTR's LT1 thermostat housing is made out of sand-cast aluminum and replaces the OEM plastic housing with the mold-in-place thermostat. This aluminum housing accepts an LS3 thermostat and connects to the factory radiator hose and vent tube, utilizing the OEM clamps. It features a lower profile than the stock counterpart for tight clearance applications. This housing allows the user an easy alternative to adjust the thermostat temperature without disassembling the factory plastic housing.
